Loop: News and Nonsense is an arts & culture webzine, by the people, for the people.
The name “Loop” represents a connection to a community that we are creating. If you’re reading this page, you’ve been sought out because you have interesting things to say that we think people will be excited to hear. Some of the main topics we’d like to cover are art in it’s various types, music, film, fashion, culture, and whatever other suggestions you have.

We will be selling banner space to pay for general upkeep of the site. Hopefully as we grow, we’ll be able to restructure some of that income and pay contributors for their contributions! One way you can help us move in that direction is by suggesting banner space to artists/photographers/whoever. You’re not expected to sell anything, we are interested in your brains. But any revenue you bring in… we’ll make sure you get a kickback. We’re not trying to make money, but keeping a site like this going -especially from a design perspective- takes a little bit of cold hard cash.
There are several immediate benefits to contributing to a site like this. Exposure for your various projects is readily available, you will be published on an exclusive site, and you will get to express your ideas and opinions in a very public way.
That being said, we do have a few ground rules.
#1, G-rated posts only (a.k.a. don’t cuss)
#2, We’re going to make sure everything is spelled correctly
#3, We’re in it for community and connectivity

How To Upload Your Articles
Once you’ve registered for the site, we will make you an author. Once you’re an author, you will have access to the dashboard (bottom right of page).
>>Click on “Write” and fill in title and text.
>>Upload a pic (make sure it’s not illegal for you to use the pic)
>>Tag appropriately
>>Make sure your name is in “Post Author” section at the bottom
>>Save
The editor will check grammar/spelling/clarity and upload your article to the site.
